Daesh bombs police station in Tripoli, Libya

Daesh militants claimed responsible via Twitter for a bomb attack on a police station in Tripoli, Libya,Reuters reports. 

The police station where the blast occurred is located near to the Foreign Ministry in the city’s center. No fatalities were reported as of yet.

Libya remain bitterly embroiled in conflict between rivalling political parties. Tripoli is currently controlled by Fajr Dawn, after the group seized control of the city in August.

Frequent terrorist attacks only exacerbate the political instability.
