The Moroccan Data Protection Authority is hosting the 38th International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners (ICDPPC) in Marrakesh, Morocco from 17 to 20 October 2016.
What is ICDPPC?
ICDPPC first met in 1979 and has been the premier global forum for data protection authorities for over 3 decades.
In connecting the efforts of about 110 privacy and data protection authorities from across the globe, the Conference seeks to provide leadership at international level in data protection and privacy.
The Conference’s vision is an environment in which privacy and data protection authorities around the world are able effectively to fulfill their mandates, both individually and in concert, through diffusion of knowledge and supportive connections.
What is the 38th edition of ICDPPC about?
The 38th edition of the ICDPPC will take place in Marrakesh, Morocco from 17 to 20 October 2016.
The 38th edition aims to highlight topics that are at the same time useful to Data Protection Authorities’ daily work and instructive to participants, such as :
- Artificial Intelligence and Robotics
- Encryption
- Privacy and personal data protection as a driver for sustainable development?

- How to reconcile security and privacy ?

How can I register to the 38th ICDPPC in Marrakesh?
