The Media Center for the Operation “Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous” confirmed that the forces controlled the building of “Makemdas” Broadcasting Center in Sirte.
The Media Center said in a statement that the building is one of the most important media centers for the Islamic State (IS) group in the city, nearby Ouagadougou complex. The IS controlled the center last year to use in broadcasting the speeches of the Emir of the IS, Abu-Bakr Al-Baghdadi, and the spokesperson for the IS, Mohamed Al-Adnani.
From his side, the spokesman for the Operation “Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous”, Mohamed Al-Ghosry, said in a press release, that controlling Ouagadougou complex came through a media plan to trick the IS that Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous was targeting the districts “1,” “2” and “3.” He added that this strategy helped Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous to avoid many losses in the battles.
Al-Ghosry expects that the IS had pulled out its troops to the district “2,” adding that Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous is thinking of postponing liberating the district to find a good time in preparing to face the mines and bombing vehicles of the IS in the building of the district.
