Libya’s Mufti contacts Libyan stakeholders in a bid to break Libyan political impasse

The Libyan Mufti, Al-Saddiq Al-Gharyani, has contacted a number of political figures that are closely effective on the current political stalemate in the country in a bid to rally them around a Libyan-Libyan dialogue intact of any foreign intervention.

Sources close to the Libyan Fatwa House reported Saturday that the Libyan Mufti communicated with a number of political stakeholders including the Head of the General National Congress Nuri Abu Sahmain, the Head of the Justice and Construction Party Mohammed Sawan, and others like Saleh Al-Makhzoum, Mohammed Emazzeb, Khalid Al-Meshiri, Abdel Hakim Belhaj, Fathi Bash Agha, Sulaiman Al-Faqih, Ibrahim Benghashir and Ali Al-Salabi as well as Salim Al-Sheikhi.

The Mufti had reportedly talked to those political figures about the seriousness of the current crisis that Libya is going through; telling them that what has become of Libya nowadays is traced back to the anti-revolution parties, which all have been trying to hinder the country’s progress.

The Mufti has previously called on all Libyan revolutionaries to get together under one united command so that they can save Libya from the greed of the foreign agenda advocators.

Media sources said that the political stakeholders expressed gratitude and readiness to act after they spoke with the Libyan Mufti, who told them to shelve any blaming comments and start acting for the greater good of Libyans.
