Cairo meeting ends with Libya’s neighbours excluding any foreign intervention in Libya

Libya’s neighbouring countries have rejected any foreign intervention into the country as the fighting between various armed factions rages on.

The 10th ministerial meeting of Libya’s neighbouring countries, held in the Egyptian capital Cairo on Saturday, reaffirmed the need of maintaining Libya’s stability, unity and sovereignty.

The final communique agreed on a “rejection of any external interference in the internal affairs of Libya.”

Libyan Neighbouring Countries Tenth Meeting kicked off on Saturday in Cairo, Egypt, in the presence of Foreign Ministers from Libya, Egypt, Algeria, Sudan, Tunisia Chad and Nigeria.
