The Constitution Drafting Assembly (CDA) posted an amended version of the Libyan constitution draft on Sunday after the first version had been approved on Saturday, with a following attack on its members.
The amended draft contained a paramount change in the president nominee article saying that the nominee for the post must have renounced the dual citizenship two years before being nominated after saying five years on Saturday.
The amendments also included changing the age of the president nominees from a minimum 40 years old to 35 with no criminal records.
The Constitution Drafting Assembly (CDA) in Al-Bayda city approved the Libyan constitution final draft by a majority of votes of 44 members representing the three Libyan regions.
