National Safety Department eliminates unexploded artillery shells from a citizen’s house in Tripoli

The Presidential Council’s Interior Ministry said that the bomb squad of the National Safety Department had eliminated unexploded artillery shells from a citizen’s house in the Airport Road district in Tripoli.

The squad moved to the site after receiving a report of the existence of objects suspected of being explosives.

The ministry warned through its media office all citizens not to approach any suspicious body, urging them to report to the National Safety Department immediately in case of such case.

Several areas of the country are still suffering from landmines and unexploded ordnance as a result of clashes that took place in different parts of the country during the past years.
