Protests in Tripoli over deplorable living conditions

Hundreds of angry people marched in the streets of Tripoli on Sunday morning to protest against the deteriorating living conditions in the capital in particular and Libya in general.

The protesters chanted slogans denouncing the high prices and lack of cash, bearing the Presidential Council (PC) and the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) the responsibility for the current state of affairs.

The protesters called on Libyans to take to the streets to secure their rights, calling for building a state of law and institutions and demanding the dissolution of the PC, the House of Representatives, and the High Council of State, in addition to the dismissal of the Governor of the CBL Saddek Elkaber.
