Clashes erupt south of Bani Walid

Clashes with heavy and medium weapons broke out Monday evening between the pro-Hafter battalion of Tariq Ibn Ziad and forces affiliated with the former commander of the Petroleum Facilities Guard Ibrahim Jadhran south of the city of Bani Walid.

The two forces had clashed earlier last week near Saddada Fortress area, between Bani Walid and Misurata, before the intervention of the Central Military Region Force, which deployed forces to the region to stabilize the situation, giving Hafter’s forces 24 hours to withdraw to their previous positions.
