Dignity Operation command vows to continue operations in the south

Spokesman for the so-called Dignity Operation, Ahmed Al-Mismari said that after taking over Sharara oilfield, they will continue what he called the “clearance of the rest of the fields” in the region.

Al-Mismari said in a press conference held Wednesday at Tamanhant Airport that their forces will go south of the city of Sabha towards Murzuk and Umm Al Aranib district and on to other areas; until the border of Chad.

Chief of staff of Haftar’s forces, Abdul Razek al-Nadori had denied earlier in a statement to Reuters any intention to move towards other oil fields, unless in case of security threats.
