French embassy welcomes Libyan decision to resume security cooperation with France

The French embassy in Libya welcomed Monday the decision of the Interior Minister, Fathi Bashagha to resume bilateral cooperation with France, in the field of security and training.

The French embassy expressed via Twitter that it looks forward to cooperating again in the fight against terrorism and to open new horizons in the area of training, combating money laundering, and organized crime,

Last week Bashagha issued a letter to the Department of Relations and Cooperation of the ministry, ordering the resumption of security cooperation with France.
