PC criticizes UN mission performance in Libya

Vice President of the Presidential Council (PC), Abdulsalam Kajman criticized during his meeting with the deputy head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Stephanie Williams, in Tripoli, the functioning of the UN mission in Libya, with respect to the implementation of the political agreement and in holding of those hindering this process accountable, reaffirming the PC’s support for the forces defending the capital.

For her part, Williams said that since the beginning of the war, the UN mission has sought to stop this war and go into negotiations, however, Haftar’s intransigence and rejection of all solutions provided by the mission has impeded this to date, according to the PC’s Information Office.
