The Chairman of Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, has reaffirmed the government’s insistence on the withdrawal of Haftar’s militias to where they came from, before talking about any ceasefire.
“Any dialogue on the Libyan crisis must be in the framework of the Political Agreement and its subsidiary bodies, in addition, to stop dealing with the parallel institutions,” Korea Times quoted Sarraj as saying on Wednesday.
He also emphasized what he described as the consistent guidelines of the PC’s policy in supporting the German efforts to hold an international conference on Libya, while underscoring the importance of involving all countries concerned with the Libyan file in the conference preparation.
