The Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister, Antonio Tajani, has stressed the great desire of Italy to solve challenges throughout the Mediterranean region.
“We want to play a leading role and solve the migration issue in Libya and work to stabilize the region,” Tajani said in an interview with an Italian radio station.
He added that he is a staunch supporter of an agreement between Egypt and Turkey, which would help Libya hold elections.
