The US military denied on Thursday taking part in a raid on an al Qaeda site in the Libyan city of Ubari, contradicting a statement by a Libyan official, Reuters reports.

The European Commission has placed Libya on a list of countries which have “strategic deficiencies in their anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing frameworks.”
