Uneasy calm descends on Tripoli frontlines after failed attempts by Haftar’s forces to retake lost positions

An uneasy calm has descended on southern Tripoli frontlines after a day of heavy fighting. Saturday saw heavy clashes between the Libyan Army forces under the command of Presidential Council’s government and Khalifa Haftar’s forces on different frontlines, with the former advancing and seizing new positions.

The Libyan Army forces under the command of the Government of National Accord (GNA) has conducted today an all-out offensive on Khalifa Haftar’s forces in southern Tripoli frontlines and Souq Al-Khamis Imsahel, while carrying out airstrikes on different frontlines, including Sagiyah in Tarhouna.
