HoR fails to vote on referendum bill, discusses legal committee advice on quorum. To reconvene tomorrow

Libya’s House of Representatives (HoR) failed to vote on the bill for the referendum on the permanent constitution. Instead they were presented with the legal opinion of the Legal Committee on what constitutes a quorum. The HoR was supposed to take a final vote on the 31 July session.

HoR fails to vote on constitution referendum bill – adjourns for two weeks

The House of Representatives (HoR) failed to take a vote on the referendum bill for Libya’s draft permanent constitution in its official session in Tobruk today. It had carried out a reading of the bill in its session yesterday and planned to vote the bill into law in today’s session.
