Tobruk HoR to hold special session in Sirte to grant confidence to new Government of National Unity

Al-Menfi looking into reuniting the parliament and conducting a vote of confidence

The media office for the new head of the presidential council Mohammed Al-Menfi reported that the president is in his hometown of Tobruk, meeting with Parliament members to discuss permanently reuniting the House of Representatives and conducting a vote of confidence in the upcoming days.

HoR-HSC joint constitutional committee hold third Hurghada meeting

The House of Representatives (HoR) and the High State Council (HSC) joint Constitutional Committee met for its third round of talks in Hurghada, Egypt today. The UNSMIL brokered talks also included the head of Libya’s High National Election Commission (HNEC), Emad Al-Sayeh.

HoR Speaker sets conditions for granting confidence to new Libyan government

The Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) in Tobruk, Aqila Saleh, called for a consultation session in the city to discuss granting confidence to the national unity government that would be formed in a few days by the interim prime minister, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah.
