Libya’s UN-recognized government on Saturday said it struck multiple targets of warlord Khalifa Haftar’s forces south of the capital Tripoli, Anadolu reports.

The Field Medical and Support Center (FMSC) in Tripoli has documented 21 civilians as killed and 31 injured in the last 41 days in Tripoli – exactly since the announcement of truce in the Libyan capital in last January.

The report of the Munich Security Conference has warned that Libya could turn to a Syria issue, saying it could be another humanitarian issue after Khalifa Haftar has launched an offensive against Tripoli to seize power.

The United Nations said Friday it is concerned about the deteriorating human rights situation in Libya with at least 284 civilian deaths this year, Anadolu Agency reports.

Nearly 900,000 people in Libya will need humanitarian assistance in 2020, said the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on Friday.
