Al-Sarraj: Forces attacking Tripoli responsible for terrorists’ reemergence

The Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj said terrorist cells have stepped up their activities over the last few months due to the recurrent military operations in different areas in Libya, adding that they have taken advantage of the security vacuum caused by ongoing fighting in Tripoli.

Libyan Army advances on new positions in south Tripoli, pushing Haftar’s forces further away

The Libyan Army forces under the command of the Presidential Council’s government said they are still in control of Al-Aziziya district in southern Tripoli and the area from the district to Al-Sabea after heavy clashes with Khalifa Haftar’s forces that attacked from two different frontlines.

The Libyan Presidential Council has condemned airstrikes on the Equestrian Club in Janzour, western Tripoli, that injured a number of children, calling for sending a fact-finding mission to document the violations and list Khalifa Haftar for UN Security Council sanctions.
