CDA asks Head of Libya’s Supreme Court to activate circuit court of constitution

The Libyan Constitution Drafting Assembly (CDA) asked Tuesday the Head of the Supreme Court to retract his decision that halted the circuit court of constitution and allow it to resume its duties as soon as possible, saying the circumstances of the then-made decision had disappeared.

HoR concludes debate of constitution referendum bill – to put to final vote on 30 July

Libya’s House of Representatives (HoR) completed is debate of the referendum bill on the country’s permanent constitution during its session yesterday. The HoR’s official spokesperson, Abdalla Belheeg, said that over 70 members attended the session and that the bill shall be voted on, on 30 July.
